The screen does not appear to be redrawing properly in GNOME. "Rubber-banding" leaves a trail of rectangles and changing the gamma in the GIMP did not take effect until I dragged the window off the screen and back on. I do not know if this is GNOME specific or not, as I've not used any other manager/Desktop long enough for it to manifest. Any ideas?
