I'm a newbie running LM7.2 with KDE2.01, and I
tried to upgrade to Gimp 1.2-- after going through much rigmarole with
dependencies, installing libgimp, and libgimp-dev, and glibc2.2.1, and gtk+1.28
etc, I finally gave up and tried to force it , though it warned me
about unsatisfied deps with sbin/ldconfig-- now Gimp works but KDE desktop
wont open.I can still work on the command line, though-- and so I'm hoping
someone can clue in on how to get my fat out of the fire. Thanks
