Hi guyz, thanks for the Realplayer tip but unfortunately it is useless now. ^_^! I have bought a new shiny PC like this Gigabyte GA-7ZX (VIA KT133) Duron 700 MHz Onboard Ensonic CT5880 (Vibra 128) SC RIVA TNT2 M64 16 MB . : My LM 7.2 detects the SC and uses es1371.o module but the SC is still silent. Any suggestion? Sounddrake and sndconfig can't fix the problem. They became silent when trying to play 8 bit sample. Please help me! I miss my XMMS. I'm learning programing in windows but have no experience in Linux. Could anyone tell me what should I read (books, Howtos, DAQ, etc.) or where sholud I go (website)?(I'm a also a newbie in programing) TIA, Tafta
