Timo....if your bootloader is grub there should be a non-fb
(non-filebuffer) boot choice for Linux. Choose that. If
your bootloader is lilo then edit (as root) the
/etc/lilo.conf file and change the vga=xxx line to read
vga=normal. Then (as root in a console) type:
lilo
