Hi, I am running Mandrake 7.2. I was going to do a back up with tar and gzip. Which directories, should I back up? I read in "the complete idiots guide to Linux (Caldera)". That one should back up: /etc /usr/lib /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 /usr/src/linux (if you have modified the kernal) /home /var/spool/mail are there any others that I should back up? Or that pretty much it? Trev ps I have the distro disks.
