Hi, I am having a problem with smb. On the home network I ahave a Linux box
(Mandrake 7.0 kernel 2.2.14), and a number of Win 98 machines.

Every 15 mins the Linux box downloads some files from one of the Win boxes.
This works flawlessly until the win box dies (as it is prone to do) and is
restarted. After this I get the following when Linux tries to download the
files:

smb_retry: signal failed, error=-3
smb_retry: signal failed, error=-3
smb_lookup: find //VWS_IMAGES failed, error=-5

So far the only way I have found to fix this is restart Linux, smbumount
doesn't work

Any ideas???

Barry
