Right click on the clock
Select Date & Time Format
The dialog box that pops up is going to be for selecting your locale.
You can select NorthAmerica->US and it will convert the format for you,
or you can do it manually by selecting the Time and Dates Tab and
converting the %H to %l (lower case L).
