I've just installed LM 7.2 with KDE 2.1 from Mandrake Freq. All is OK but I cannot get system sounds to work in KDE. They do with Gnome, and I can play CDs etc with no trouble. I had to download and install "arts-2.1-2 mdk.rpm" as it wasn't on the CD but this hasn't fixed the problem . Also arts does not start on KDE start up, even though this option is selected in the KDE sound server control centre.
