 No, Grub was included in the betas, I  don't know if it was an option with 
"recomended" install but I used it every time with "expert" install

Yes ,if it isn't an option during "recomended" install just use DrakConf to 
configure your bootloader post install, Grub & Lilo are there (also Aurora is 
in there), if you are using a beta, the boot options in DrakConf don't work 
but it is straightforward to resolve:-
Download (I got mine from rpmfind.net) the latest versions of DrakConf and 
it's dependencies which are:-
drakfont
drakfloppy
harddrake
drakxtools
drakxtools-newt
upgrade these first, then upgrade DrakConf, it's straightforward as they are 
rpms
