Hi walt,
the drive is readable, no problem. And writeable also.
You need to make a new directory to mount the volume in, eg. /mnt/ntfs and
then, as root, find out what partition it is on.
Most probably

mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/ntfs

will already do the trick
If so, you can add this info to your /etc/fstab to have it mounted
automatically on every boot.
