is it possible for a process to be immune to all forms of 'kill'? i keep having to reboot every time xcdroast crashes because cdrecord and/or cdda2wav don't stop running, i've read the man for kill and inserted every possiblity after the -s option and also used kill -9 but nothing works, nor does killall, if i don't get rid of the process then xcdroast won't even run at all a second time bascule
