I've just installed Mandrake 8.0 on my laptop, and although all the KDE apps work just fine, I can't seem to run any legacy applications -- either through the file manager or a console window. When I type the name of a program on the command line, all I get is a message saying that "[program_name] is not a bash command" or something like that. Anyone recognize this problem at all?
