Hello, Consider a mobile rack unit. It will allow you to swap hard drives, so you can have one hard drive with Mandrake and another with Windows or whatever else.. It is an option as is multiple booting, but this allows one to use both. That way, if there is a problem with one it will never affect the other. It is an alternative. Windows was apparently not designed to be as tolerant of other partition types as is Linux. It does not "play well with others" as they say.
