[newbie] Best browser for linux?

Hello: I have Mandrake 8.0 and use the default browser Netscape which comes with it. But this sucks specially on pages where there are some applets. I tried installing Netscape 6.0, it works great but crashes very often.  Does anybody have any suggestion on which broswer works great?   Thanks Ravi
