[newbie] Samba Error

I can now see all of my smb shares, but when I try to access them, I get 
"SMB connection failed tree connect failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw". This looks 
like a password error but I can not see what I might be doing wrong. Could 
it be that the user password is the same on both machines? This is getting 
good, like a "who done it?".  TIA for any help.
