Hi, I tried using smbclient //Rodrigo/HP to test my connection where Rodrigo is the computer's name as defined in Network Neighbourhood properties under Win98 and HP is the printer's share name. I get a reply saying that connection to Rodrigo failed. If I try smbclient //Rodrigo/D where D is the share name of drive D: I get the same response. I'm very new to Linux (I've been using/testing it for only 3 days) so I'm finding it very difficult to understand Samba and printing to a remote printer. Any help would be welcome. Also any places on the Web where I can find some basic info would also be nice.
