To login as root just type 'root' in the user line and then enter your password. In Login Manager you should be able to remove the unwanted user (process) icons. I suggest you don't add a root icon, as you can always get to root as I mentioned above. No root icon is the default, and IIRC, there's security reasons to not have root present in KDM. -- Tom Brinkman Galveston Bay
