yes my main machine connects no prob, both mandrake linux, and windows have no problem connecting to the net okay the slackware that i am using is JUST A INSTALLER... nothing full just three disks loaded into ram... the problem i have is trying to get a ip address assigned to that machine. and seeing as it didnt work on my main machine... i think it would be the router, the nic card in both my machines work fine. ill try a static config... hope it works, but im not thinking it will -- nathan _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
