Well, I managed to get the email to work on Linux. I am using Kmail. Not as easy as I would have it but nevertheless I can get my newbie mailing without having to boot back to WindowsME or set up the account on my new iMac. Well, having used Windows email program for so many years and seeing everything from Internet Explorer I amazed what a little variety can do for ones boredom. I like the feel but I still think Netscape is a joke personally. Konqueror is nice and has smoother feel to it. I have to say I am enjoying myself and since I have horrible Internet connection for the past six months and now being able to us it I have come to realize that reading all those posts from people working on their own Linux box and setting up this and that I was prepared for what was coming up. I am not ready to give up Windows or Mac, but frankly I don't see why I can't have it all. No one can tell me I have to use Linux exclusively and give up the other two. I look forward to continuing my road to new knowledge and experience. Thank you all for the information you asked and the all the post that were either wrong or write or completely off base.
