ld.so-1.9.5-13.i386.rpm and libc-5.3.12-35mdk.i586.rpm were both needed to install wp 8 under 8.0. i suspect you will find this is the case in 8.1 also. you can find them at rpmfind or i think i may have them and can mail them to you.
