I have php, mysql & apache working on Mandrake 8.0. They are the installed from the rpms that came with the distro. I want to use mcrypt to encrypt data before it is stored in mysql. Php was configured without the --with-mcrypt option. I have installed the 2.5.7-1 mdk rpm of mcrypt. What do I have to do to get this to work with php?
