is ur scsi detected during boot process? it sould be one of the first things ihe installer looks for after keyboard and mouse.... if i can remember correctly. i know mandrake 8.0 i386 had issues with installing from a scsi cdrom. it might be one thing to investigate in the list archives...... hope it works for u, good luck
