tek1....at a console prompt, typing: X -version will return info on the version that is running (X is a link to the executable that is actually running on your system). to change your xserver just type: XFdrake --expert as root, at a console prompt and, as one of the items you can change, you'll have a choice of the available versions of XFree. :) -- Alan
