Hi, I am getting this error ( along with a long list of errors) on bootup. " ... dev/hda6 was not cleanly unmouted .." I checked http://www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/admin/amount3.html#fsck it indicated that either 1) i haven't run shutdown before turning the machine off or 2) or were forced to reboot the machine because of a system freeze neither one is true. I was wondering how I can begin to fix this problem. thanks in advance. - eJ This sounds as though you have some conflicting software going on as / user. Have you installed all O.K? Something didn't quite finish how you wanted? Until then you will get this message. Post some of error messages , they may give more ideas as to what is wrong and i,ll try again.
