yes, thats correct... I put the gateway device in there..
I think its like this: GATEWAYDEV=ppp0 or whatever your gateway device is... and I leave GATEWAY empty, then it just defaults to the that devices address.. always worked for me.. rgds Frank -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Ronald J. Here is my /etc/sysconfig/network file: NETWORKING=yes HOSTNAME="darkforce.com" DOMAINNAME=com GATEWAY=192.168.0.1 FORWARD_IPV4=true IPX="yes" IPXINTERNALNETNUM="0" IPXINTERNALNODENUM="0" IPXAUTOPRIMARY="on" IPXAUTOFRAME="on" Let me see if I got this right, if I change the GATEWAY setting here to my ISP's IP address, I'll get rid of that annoying habit of having to turn my networking off to resolve anything on the 'Net? Also, for any IPX experts out there, do these IPX settings look correct? I'm trying to get Starcraft networking to work (via Winex) and its a no go so far... Thanks to all! ;-) -- /\ Dark><Lord \/
