Well it's been a long day but it looks like I've finally got Linux on my
machine. Yay for me.

But now I've got a question - I've logged on and I can see a penguin and the
prompt after username and password but where to from there ?

How do I load a GNOME?

Ok, just as the first thing that comes to mind, have you checked to make
sure
that your floppy doesn't have any bad sectors?

Another thing, if your BIOS and drive are new enough, I think that those 6.1
