after adding these line to my /etc/rc.d/rc.local file (at the end, as root) or running them as root in a text console it seems to have helped MY real-audio to listen to NPR (my favorite radio on the planet, personally) ln -s /dev/sound/dsp /dev/dsp ln -s /dev/sound/sequencer /dev/sequencer
