Matsonic MS8308 and PCchips M810LMR have sis730s chipset with sis7018 audio circuit. Mandrake 8.1 always detect the 7018 (irq11 shared with usb ports) The bios is turned with PnP os ON Others integrated circuits are working (video,lan,modem) but no sound with 7018 and no error message
Is sound turned on in 8.1 kernel ? how to verify it and turn it on ? Please how to hear something from my card ? Jean-Marie
