As an aside to this, I've found that loading WP8 is blazingly fast in Xfce.  
It loads twice as fast on a P233 w/384 megs of ram, running Xfce than it does 
on a P733 w/512 megs running KDE!  Both machines are running 8.0.  This 
floored me!
