Finally getting around to trying to get openoffice.org installed, and I know this has come up here before.
I dl'd and extracted it in my home directory. Ran setup -net. Specified install directory as /usr/share/openoffice. Installed fine. changed to /usr/share/openoffice/program and ran soffice. Got error: //HACK: No such file or directory. Then window pops up and says app cannot be started. The config file /home/todd/.sversionrc was not found and if I want to start the setup app to check the installation. I said yes and it prompts for workstation or local installation. I just want to use it on this machine, but allow my wife to use it to (thus the -net, right?). What have I done wrong? TIA, Todd
