This should be so easy, I cannot figure out why it is not working! I want to stop the fetchmail daemon when I am not connected to my ISP, fo I made an 'ip-down.local' as follows;
#!/bin/sh /usr/bin/fetchmail -quit the file is: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 35 Feb 18 09:05 /etc/ppp/ip-down.local* but whenever I stop wvdial, the fethcmail daemon does not quit, unless I do it manually. Can anyone please help? -- Thank you! Kipling
