Hello, I had been using an Epson Stylus C60 inkjet printer with LM 8.1 with no problems. Connection is via the parallel port on my PC (ECS K7S5A motherboard, Athlon 1600+ CPU).
Yesterday I did a fresh install of LM 8.2 (download edition) and now I cannot get my printer to work correctly. The test page prints, but there is no blue and no black in the output, so the color wheel test page comes out in various shades of red and pink! I am using CUPS and GimpPrint (tried the other available choice with no luck there, either). I tried both "3 color composite" and "4 color" choices in printer options, neither works properly. I set up the printer with the Mandrake tool both as an Epson Stylus C60, and as an Epson Stylus Photo 1200P, which used to work with LM 8.1, but in both cases I only get red/pink output. The printer works normally under Windows, so it's not a hardware problem or missing ink. Anyone else have an Epson Stylus C60 working properly with LM 8.2? Can you tell me how it is set up, or how to fix my problem?
