you use KDE, right? in KDE "ctrl + F*" is for switching desktops, so pressing ctrl + F11 yould take you to the eleventh Desktop, if you had one... i found this when i was using kylix and noticed i couldn't use ctrl-F2 to reset my programs... Damian
