I've installed 8.1 and it install hot swap pcmcia and the tulip driver which gave a 90% loss when I did a ping on my network. I could find a easy update and help for locals.. Deicided to bite bullet, update to 8.2 surely they would have fixed this problem with Linksys cardbus pcmcia's.. no luck it doesn't even see the card.. Linksys web site has a proceedure http://www.linksys.com/support/support.asp?spid=26 or use another approcah on install the new hop swap stuff..
