When I'm looking for Linux drivers for hardware that doesn't work correctly "out of the box" during a Mandrake installation; a rare occurrence these days, I always start at Google to find whether there is _any_ support for the hardware in question. From things that I've read it seems the card should have been recognized/installed/configured at install but you may have needed some utilities package or other to be able to set personal preferences. Since I only read part of what was listed in the Google search; my advice wouldn't be worth too much. But there are drivers for this card to run on a Linux install at the Hercules site. Look in the left column of the (very slow loading) page for the link here: http://us.hercules.com/support/index.php3 I hope this helps, and I hope you find what you need. -- Charlie Edmonton,AB,Canada Registered user 244963 at http://counter.li.org In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence ... in time every post tends to be occupied by an employee who is incompetent to carry out its duties ...
