I'm not able to get my sound card (Base PCI A3D) to work. I checked all the sound HowTo in /usr/doc/kernel-doc-2.2.14/sound/ but my sound card is not listed.
I used lothar and sndconfig but with strange results. sndconfig tell me it found a sound card "Aureal Semiconductor|Vortex 1" and that it isn't supported. - Why does sndconfig not find "Base PCI A3D"? - And what can I do to get my sound card working? -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net
