I had the same problem with my Ricoh Caplio. It is seen but not recognised. So I got myself a simple Belkin cardreader which was recognised immediately. I stick in the SD-card, connect the Belkin over USB and a few seconds later it automounts on /mnt/removable. I don't need it any simpler. :-) Paul -- You can't wait for inspiration.
