but I am knoppix and can't find how to
acquire the photos in Gimp (or any other darned thing :-) ). Have briefly used
Gimp and viewed photos from CD in Mandriva, and also in windows. In windows the
photos were on my hard drive though.
close every app,
and see if your card is on the desktop please.
knoppix should show the drive on the desktop, i think.
then you can decide to mount it
or even mount it read/write by right-clicking it.
