But the location bar background does turn yellow and the sites domain name does appear in the status bar, (again, as per the Firefox help file).
So I've got 2 out of 4 signs that the site is secure, is it just me? a fault with my set up? or a bug in Firefox 1.0.2? before the upgrade I was running Firefox 1.0.0 (Preview release) which always displayed the padlock on a secure site.
I'm running 2005 LE with all the upgrades i can find.

After using mozilla 1.7 for a couple of days i tried reinstalling Ff 1.0.2 for about the 5th time and the padlock has returned, I'm unable to find an RPM for Ff 1.0.3, any ideas anyone?
I've tried DL the Tar installer but keep getting a missing library error msg (xpislib)
