The first thing you can try is to run urpmi.update (-a for all, or --media 
"media_name" for the specific media). I actually have a cron job that runs 
urpmi.update -a every night so I am usually up to date for all my sources.

As to xine, this is what I have installed: 
xine-ui-0.99.3-2mdk
xine-plugins-1.0-8mdk
libxine1-1.0-8mdk
xine-win32-1.0-7.1.101plf
xine-arts-1.0-8mdk
xinetd-2.3.13-1mdk
