It is hard to tell what your problem is from the details you have given.
I don't think it is a Mandrivel error, because of the number of people
that have downloaded and installed without problems...
Are you downloading the CD images, or the DVD image?

Aron, it seems extremely unlikely that you have 6 bad downloads/burns,
particularly if they are reported "good" by k3b.
Exactly when are you getting this error message? Is it after inserting
CD1, but before installation starts? Googling seems to suggest that this
might be a hardware problem - have you tried the CD on another machine?
(I assume that, like most of us, you have more than one PC!)
