Well Asus includes the cables in it standard pack with the M/B. I don't know if the DVD Burner had cables included or not, but my guess would be not. The labeling on the cable matches the labeling on the HDD cables that were included with the M/B as part of the standard packaging. I am not that peeved about it, but did think that I would post about it on the off chance that someone else has had problems burning dvd's or cd's under Linux but not under Windows and it might be a similar problem.
