Hey Mike,
Have you tried installing the libstdc++? If you go to
shell and type:
urpmi libstdc++
it should put it in for you. You may get several
options (libstdc++5 or libstdc+6) too. Hope that's
some help...

When I type urpmi libstdc++, it tells me that it is already installed. Here
is the message:

# urpmi libstdc++
Everything already installed
----------------------------------------------
I tried installing libgig after I ran the urpmi and I got the same error
message:

# rpm --install libgig-2.0.1-4.mdk102.rncbc.i586.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
devel(libstdc++) is needed by libgig-2.0.1-4.mdk102.rncbc

Do you think it has something to do with the libstdc++ devel? Thanks.

I installed the devel packages and a libstdc++ package, and libgig installed
fine.
