Yes, I had heard nothing but good things about Asus products, especially their
support, quality, compatibility, etc. It appears that with this particular
product, they are rapidly reducing the goodwill they have built up with
everyone except possibly the reviewers.
I do know that given their published problems, lack of response to me and
general run-around from tech support, I probably will think long and hard
before buying another Asus motherboard.
Asus is fine. What y'all should think long an hard about is
buyin any board with a non-compliant (win-hardware) nForce* chipset.
