  | xscreensaver works well for me. I have a script file
  | "launch-xscreensaver.sh" which contains the single line "xscreensaver
  | &". This is kept in /home/graham/.kde/Autostart so it starts up with
  | kde (and with xfce4 and IceWM). Choosing the screensaver is done from
  | the command line with the command "xscreensaver-demo", and most of them
  | seem to work. They are all more impressive than the screensavers that
  | come with KDE.

  | Hope this is some help.

  | Cheers,

xscreensaver works well here as well. I also created a lock icon for my KDE
kickker bar which uses the xscreensaver lock command (xscreensaver-command
-lock) :) so can lock my desktop if I need to.
