Not sure, but you should be able to either 1) Put it on the 
correct desktop, and log out to save it, or 2) Set it to 
"manually save" (I think it's called), get everything where
you want it, and then select "Save Session" from the KDE
menu. 

I do the latter since I may not logout exactly the way I
want to login.
