This is so funny I just had to send it to the list... I was reading my morning online comic strips as usual (Dilbert, User Friendly, ...), and I got a javascript pop up (which in konqueror with my settings showed up in a separate tab). I forget the exact wording, but it was something like:
"Errors have been detected in your registry, affecting system performance and stability. Click OK to install WinSaver 2005 and resolve these problems." I found it hilarious that it detected errors in my registry while I'm running Mandriva. I didn't know Mandriva had a registry.
