In section 1 make sure that you have the correct distro version set, and check the small box - I can't remember what it's called. The hit the button to proceed to section 2 - very important that you do that, or you won't have set the distro version correctly.
Select a server from each group and proceed to section 3. You will be given a chunk of code to copy and type into a root console (you do know unix-style copy and paste?). That will set all your sources. You can then go into Mandriva Control Center and uncheck all your disks if you want to, because every package will be available by download. You will also have access to many packages that are not included on the disks - mozilla-thunderbird is one of them.
