You appear to be trying to recompile your kernel.
It is not necessary to recompile the kernel in order to get an intel ipw2100
wireless card working with Mandriva which I assume from your previous posts
is what you are doing.

The ipw2100 driver is **already** in your Mandriva kernel.

The ONLY thing needed to make an ipw2100 wireless card work with Mandriva is
to download the Intel firmware and put it in the correct directory.

I believe you are running 2006 and so the firmware can be found here
http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/firmware.php?fid=4

Decompress the downloaded file and place the files
in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware

Thats it. Done!
