1/ You mean where are the files? - Enter the name of the app in the Uninstall GUI and you will see a list of the files. (select the "maximum information" radio button) The executable will almost always be in /usr/bin 2/ If it is an RPM made for Mandrake then No. The menu item will show up after a few minutes. Sometimes it will not show up until you log out and log in again.
